OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES:
1. Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations "Honeymoon sweepstakes" (hereinafter referred to as "the sweepstakes") will award 1 winner two roundtrip Economy class tickets to Sydney, departing from Los Angeles (LAX) and 3 nights at the Observatory Hotel Sydney and 3 nights at Lilianfels Blue Mountains (hereinafter referred to as "the Prize").
Air travel arrangements are subject to the following conditions:
a) Travel must occur between June 1, 2008 and December 7, 2008. If a winner is unable to travel at that time, he/she forfeits the prize and an alternate winner may be selected.
b) You and your companion must travel together on the same flights.
c) All travel must be completed within 10 days from the date your travel commences.
d) Travel is valid for the segments stated above only.
e) Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
f) Travel is subject to schedule changes and may only be used on Qantas Airways operated services.
g) This award is excluded from frequent flyer mileage credit and does not include carriage where the airline has seat lease agreements with other airlines (travel not valid on codeshare flights).
h) Prizes may not be sold to, bartered with, purchased or utilized by a third party.
i) Government and airport taxes, and any other airline surcharges imposed on passengers are covered by Qantas Airways.
j) The winners are responsible for the cost of an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) which is approx $25 each.
2. Except as provided in Rules 9 and 10, Contest is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older and legal residents of the United States (except Puerto Rico).
3. How to enter: Beginning February 14, 2008 through May 31, 2008, when a qualified person registers for the sweepstakes on this website or by mail as directed he/she has the opportunity to enter into a random drawing to win the above mentioned prize. No Purchase necessary to enter or win. All mail-in entry requests must be postmarked by May 31, 2008 and received at the address below by June 3, 2008. Only one entry is allowed per household. No photocopies or mechanically reproduced entries are permitted. Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations shall not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible, misdirected or postage due mail. All entries become the property of Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vactions.

4. The winner will be selected the week of June 9, 2008 from among all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by first class mail, telephone or electronic mail at the discretion of Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations within two weeks of the random drawing. Return of any Prize/Prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification of that winner and an alternate winner will be selected.
5. Any decision of Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations relating to the interpretation or application of these rules or the conduct of the Contest shall be final.
6. Each winner shall sign and return: (a) an affidavit attesting to eligibility and compliance with these rules as a precondition to receiving the Prize; (b) a release and authorization for Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations to use his/her name and likeness for publicity purposes without compensation (except as prohibited by law). The aforementioned affidavit and release will be sent to each winner by Tourism Australia within one week after the winner has replied with their electronic and/or mailing address. Each winner must return the affidavit and release by first class mail. Noncompliance within will result in disqualification of the winner and the selection of another winner. (c) All winners shall also sign and submit a release and authorization permitting Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations to use all digital photos, videos, and written travelogues produced by any winner during his/her trip to Australia for any reason, and in any manner, for an indefinite period.
7. Prizes may be taxable by the Internal Revenue Service. Each winner will be responsible for taxes payable to the Internal Revenue Service or any other tax authority, and must provide a valid taxpayer ID or Social Security Number when accepting his/her Prize.
8. The Prize consists of two round trip Qantas Airways Economy Class tickets from Los Angeles to Sydney, 3 nights at the Observatory Hotel Sydney and 2 nights at Lilianfels Blue Mountains. Each trip for two persons is valued at $2000 each (ARV$4000). Each Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize and specifically excludes anything else, including all meals and all other incidentals. Air carrier's regulations and conditions apply. Reservations are subject to availability and certain restrictions apply.
9. The sweepstakes is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations their subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies or partners and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. If it is found that a person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these rules has submitted an entry, that entry will be deemed ineligible and any prize awarded shall be revoked.
10. The sweepstakes is not open to residents of Puerto Rico and is void where prohibited by law, restricted or taxed. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Must be 18 years or older to enter. Travel companion must be 18 years or older unless traveling with an immediate family member.
11. Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations reserves the right to disqualify any mutilated, illegible or reproduced mail or video entry and shall not be responsible for the loss or theft of mail entries. Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations is also not responsible for any error in the transmission of online entries.
12. No substitution or transfer of any Prize is permitted, except that Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the Prize is unavailable. There is no cash substitute for the Prize.
13. Acceptance of a Prize constitutes permission to Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations and their agencies to use a winner's name and/or likeness for any promotional, advertising, or Internet usage for an indefinite period without further compensation unless prohibited by law. All materials submitted become the sole property of Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations and will not be returned.
14. By accepting a Prize, each winner agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations and their respective directors, officers, agents, employees and assigns, from and against any and all claims, loss, damage, and/or liability arising from or out of the use or non-use of the Prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury, loss or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations "Honeymoon sweepstakes" or use or redemption of any Prize.
15. Roundtrip air travel from the United States on board Qantas Airways will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Montreal Convention 1999 and by any applicable Conditions of Carriage and tariffs of Qantas.
16. By participating in the "Honeymoon sweepstakes", entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and any interpretation or application thereof by Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and / or Classic Vacations.
17. Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations reserves the right to change the sweepstakes Official Rules or terminate the sweepstakes without notice. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned (including, but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering or unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest), Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes.
18. Tourism Australia, Qantas Airways and Classic Vacations shall not be responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of Prize.
19. A winners list will be available by sending a request to: "Romance sweepstakes" Winners List, 6100 Center Drive, Ste 1150, Los Angeles, CA 90045. All requests for the winners list must be received by July 30, 2008.
